Help
Q What us our purpose
A Our purpose is to help by listening and to speak about whatever is important to them.
Q What is listening therapy?
A Listening therapy is the process where we listen to you and help you make sense of what you are going through.
Q Who needs listening therapy?
A We all have a basic human need to be listened to and understood.

Some of us have friends and family who we rely on in times of uncertainty, loneliness and loss. For others, having friends and family is of no benefit, as the communication is of poor quality.

Ask yourself, how many times have you approached a friend to tell them about a specific problem, only to find your friends life suddenly becomes the main topic of conversation?

Also some people live in total isolation through no fault of their own. New Muslim converts can feel particularly lonely at times.
Q I want to use this service, but am unsure
A This service is operated by ordinary people such as yourself. We are trained to listen to you and make you feel at ease.
Q Is it confidential?
A Yes, our service is 100% confidential. We are not interested in your name, who you are, where you live, what you do. Our priority is to listen to whatever you want to share with us.
Q How much does it cost?
A Currently this service is delivered by a team of dedicated volunteers.
Q Is the contact number a premium-rate telephone number?
A We endeavour to have a contact number in the future, but you can presently contact by filling in an enquiry form stating that you need the counselling service we will contact you back as soon as possible giving you a number you can call to listen to you.

  • Loss or bereavement
  • Family breakdown
  • Emotional, physical and sexual abuse
  • Relationship difficulties
  • Stress
  • Depression
  • Anxiety
